Isnt this a cool maze??? Dwight made it yesterday for the new curriculum- themed for traveling around the world. I put it on the activity page for lesson one. I still need one more puzzle for lesson one, but Im looking for something that encourages the children in overall Bible reading and memory work. So for now, it's sitting empty while I think a while. Got any ideas??? Mike, Vickie and Suki Kangas helped me crank out a few puzzles too, and I look forward to entering them into the pages. Of the 13 lessons(two puzzles per lesson), we now have like 17 done- so more than half way. Except these pages are just for the older kids... when Im done with these, I'll jump into something easier for the little guys.
Anyway, I thought Dwight did a super job on this maze. Makes me want to travel around the world!

Luv & Production

The Riso is making a lot of noise right beside me as it spits out page after page of material. Dwight is loving the production, and I enjoy it too. It's a nice break from writing, checking the spanish translation, and making puzzles... as part of my 'to do' list for cranking out the new curriculum. Dwight and I really enjoy working together in our new office here in Huatabampo. We have desks with computers right next to each other, and we enjoy each other's company as we work throughout the day. We both get up and do various other things, Dwight more than I. He has to respond to all the construction needs, any questions the guys have, or to run errands for supplies. He also goes to get our water- both the drinking water and the tap water. My main job is to sit here at the computer and write lessons. It's a lot of work, so I like to get up when I can to take a break. There is always the laundry and cleaning, plus cooking for us that give me a break. Also I attend to all the visitors. Actually we both get up and greet them. Dwight stays for a while, then excuses himself while I address the reason for their visit. So, most days, you can imagine your missionaries sitting at their computers and working, or running errands, attending to pastors or others who visit, or putting on events.

The print job Dwight is running right now is over 3000 kids sets of the Armor of God curriculum (10 lessons) As you can see in the picture above, Dwight is almost done printing the green, then he will run all these sheets back thru to add the black. We LOVE having the Riso so we can go two or three color!

The fun part is that we love working together, and even just sitting together as we work on different projects. I have to say tho, the printing Dwight is doing is soooo loud that it makes it hard to concentrate on lesson writing! :)
